Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 20, 2010, at 7:30 PM at Ibert's 
Mortuary for Sharon Dawson DeMahy, 61, a native of Torrence, CA and a longtime 
resident of Baldwin, who passed away Saturday, October 16, 2010, at 12:55 AM at 
Franklin Foundation Hospital.

Survivors include her loving husband of 39 years, Joseph Maurice DeMahy of 
Baldwin; one daughter, Angela Marie DeMahy of Orlando, FL; one son, Robert 
Joseph DeMahy and his wife, Angela of Baldwin; one step-son, Shane Thomas DeMahy 
and his wife, Krystal, of New Iberia; mother, Sybil Mae Smith of Jonesboro, AR; 
six brother, John Richard Dawson of Seattle, WA, Leslie Carol "Butch" Dawson of 
Biloxi, MS; Lawrence Wayne Dawson of Colorado Springs, CO, Charles Dawson of 
Jonesboro, AR, Kenneth Lee Dawson of Auburn, MA, Keith Arnold Dawson of San 
Antonio, TX; one sister, Linda Kay James of Jonesboro, AR; four grandchildren; 
two step-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Robert Gulliver Dawson; three sisters, 
Gloria Jean Walker, Delores Ann Stokes, and Marylin Sue Clark; and one brother, 
Michael Robert Dawson.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Wednesday, October 20, at Ibert's 
Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again Thursday, October 21, from 8:00 
AM until time of dismissal at 9:30 AM.

Burial will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery. Pastor Maurice Seneca will 
officiate the services.
