GROGAN, EDWARD J. 

 Mr. Edward Jerry Grogan, 49, a resident and native of Patterson, died suddenly 
Monday, Oct. 4, at 11 p.m., at his residence.

 He is survived by his father, Saul Grogan Sr. of Patterson; one son, Elijah 
Jerry Grogan of Eunice; 11 brothers, Marvin Grogan and Joseph Grogan of 
Franklin, Earl Grogan, Charles Grogan, Timothy Grogan, Garrett Grogan and Paul 
Grogan of Patterson, Clarence Grogan of Berwick, Saul Grogan Jr., Wallace Grogan 
and Saul Grogan III of Morgan City; and five sisters, Edna G. Riles of Franklin, 
Betty G. Christopher of Morgan City, Brunetta G. Stewart, Loretta G. Duchan and 
Melissa G. Larce of Patterson.

Mr. Grogan was preceded in death by his mother.

 Visitations will be observed Wednesday, Oct. 13, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at the 
Good Hope Baptist Church in Patterson.

 Burial rites will be read Wednesday, at 2 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Samuel Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow in the Willing Workers 
Cemetery in Patterson.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
