Born in St. Louis, Mo., Oct. 14, 1922, she was a citizen of the world. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Edward L. Meyer Jr.; daughter, Peggy Eaton and husband, John, of Radford, Va.; sons, Edward L. Meyer III and wife, Donna, of Morgan City, and Jim Meyer of Springfield, Ill.; grandsons Marc Eaton and wife, Diann, Kent Eaton and wife, Renee', of Christiansburg, Va., Brad Denham, Jon Meyer and Alex Meyer of Morgan City; granddaughter, Melissa Meyer Hanson and husband, Harvey, of Carterville, Ill.; great-granddaughter, Eliza and great-grandson, Neal Eaton, of Christiansburg, Va.; great-granddaughter, Samantha, and great-grandson, Nolan Henson, of Carterville, Ill.; and great- granddaughter, Britney Denham of Morgan City; brother-in-law, Ernie Meyer, niece, B. J. Meyer-Smith, and nephew, Mike Bodine, all of St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Meyer spent many years volunteering with the Association for Retarded Citizens in Illinois, giving of her time and talents. Her artistic talents were a joy to all who had the benefit of sharing them with her. She was predeceased by grandson, T. Scott Eaton. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Maison Jardin for all their love and support. A memorial service will be held at Maison Jardin at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 26, at 2 p.m. The family will receive friends following the service. ===================
