ROGERS, HERMAN JEROME
   
Herman Jerome Rogers, 77, a native of Franklin, passed away Saturday, October 2, 
2010 at his residence in Irmo, SC. 

Born Oct. 10, 1932, the son of the late Altia J. Rogers and Celestine Naquin 
Rogers, he attended Hanson School in Franklin. Herman entered the military to 
serve his country in the Air Force. While stationed in New Mexico, he married 
his life companion, Mavis Theriot of Centerville. Herman worked as and retired a 
salesman for Lance, Inc.

Herman is survived by his wife, Mavis T. Rogers; sons, David Rogers of Savoy, 
TX, Kenny Rogers of Eau Claire, WI and Kerry Rogers of Pineville; daughters, 
Paula Edens of Crowley, Robin Richard of Bayou Vista and Diana Gonzalez of 
Ballentine, SC; brothers, Reynold Rogers of Gibson and Junius Rogers of Houma; 
sisters, Elise Rogers (Clifford) Broussard of Franklin and Phyllis Rogers 
Dumesnil of Broussard, formerly of Franklin; 12 grandchildren; and two great 
grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by brothers, Byron, Raymond, James and Bertrand Rogers.

Columbia, SC 29169.
