Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1011.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Eugenia "Jennie" Domino Grizzaffi, a lifelong resident of Morgan City passed away at the age of 98, Saturday, November 27, 2010 at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City, surrounded by her family. Eugenia was a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and a woman of deep faith in the Lord. She was a devoted wife of 75 years to her husband and loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren deeply. Her life centered around her family and serving them a traditional home cooked Italian meal every Sunday. Her goal in life was to keep her family focused and together. Eugenia is survived by three daughters, Virgie G. Watkins and her husband, Garver, of Morgan City, Diane G. McCann and her husband, Tim, of Patterson, Carolyn G. Foster of Winter Haven, Fl; one son, Sam H. Grizzaffi Jr. and his wife, Sandy of Morgan City. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; Ricky Watkins, Lisa Sellers, Donna Moreau, Cheryl Walker, John Foster, David Dressel, Gina Banks, Dr. Brad Grizzaffi, Dr. Jeff Grizzaffi and Matt Grizzaffi. Other survivors include 22 great grandchildren; Ryan, Amanda and Victoria Walker, Blake, Brett and Brooke Watkins, Kimberly, Lauren, Ashley and Benjamin Sellers, Grant and Isabella Moreau, Allison and David Dressel, Campbell and Ried Banks, Zachary Grizzaffi, Tanner Grizzaffi, Giana Grizzaffi and Lilly Thibodeaux, McKensey and Gavin Foster and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceding her in death were her husband, Sam H. Grizzaffi Sr., her parents Biaggio "Bill" Domino and Lucia Domino and 10 brothers and sisters. Pallbearers will be six of her grandsons; Ricky Watkins, David Dressel, Brad, Jeff and Matt Grizzaffi and John Foster. Visitation will be held Monday, November 29, 2010 from 6pm until 9 p.m. at Twin City Funeral Home, 412 Fourth Street, Morgan City, with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will resume, Tuesday, November 30, 2010 from 8am until 9:30am at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, November 30, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan City with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Jennie will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum.
