Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1011.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Carmen Mire Guarisco, 92, a lifelong native and resident of Morgan City passed away Sunday, November 28, 2010. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren whom she dearly loved and cared for. Carmen will be dearly missed by all her family and friends. Carmen is survived by three sons: Albert P. Guarisco and his wife, Arlette of Thibodaux, Peter D. Guarisco III of Lafayette and Gerald M. Guarisco and his wife, Judith of Morgan City; three daughters: Rosalie M. Voisin and her husband, Gerald of Houma, Clair Giordano of Houma and Carmen Freia of Morgan City; two brothers: Gerald Mire of California and Donald Mire and his wife, Sweetie of Amelia; three sisters: Nina M. Hildago of Texas, Elaine M. Hillard and her husband, Bill of Texas and Merle M. Groce of Texas; 15 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Carmen was preceded in death by her husband, Pete D. "Hub Club Pete" Guarisco; her parents, Albert and Angeline St. Clair Mire; one brother, Neal Mire; three sisters: Doris M. Guzzino, Carolyn M. Goulas and Gladys M. Guarisco. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 01, 2010 from 9am until 11am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11am. Carmen will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the mass. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Alzheimer Association. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. ===================
