Lorenzo, a native of Berwick and resident of Morgan City died in her home on November 17, 2010. Visitation at Hargrave Funeral Home will be observed Sunday, November 21, 2010 from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and will continue Monday November 22, 2010 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 7:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.; Father Danny Poche will conduct a Mass of Christian burial at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m. Mrs. Lorenzo will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum. She is survived by two sons, Dr. Samuel Lorenzo and his wife Debbie of Atlanta and Dale Lorenzo and his wife Heather of Morgan City; three daughters, Kathleen Lorenzo of Morgan City, Charleen Orgeron and her husband Ronald of Belle Chasse and Deborah Lorenzo and her companion Ed Gallegos of Baton Rouge; ten grandchildren, Dr. Chad Jackson and his wife Jamie of Tennessee, Chris Orgeron, Ashley, Elisa, Victoria, Samantha, Zachary, Matthew and Joshua Lorenzo and Bianca Whitten; six great-grandchildren, Emma Kate Jackson, Madelyn Jackson, Lily Jackson, Nathan Orgeron, Brody Orgeron, Khloe Orgeron and a host of nieces and nephews. She also leaves behind her dear friend Anna Stockstill. She is preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Samuel S. Lorenzo; parents, Lonnie and Esther Cortez; one brother Ronald Cortez; and one sister Joyce Cortez Rogers. She will be sadly missed and loved by all who knew her. Charleen Lorenzo was a devoted member of the Holy Cross Church as well as being an active member of the Bereavement team. ===================
