PICOU, EVELIA MARY RHODES 
November 20, 1920 - October 30, 2010 

Evelia Mary Rhodes Picou , a native of Morgan City, passed away Saturday, 
October 30, 2010, at Salem Place Nursing Home in Conway, Ark.

Evelia is survived by her four sons, Armond Picou and his wife, Catherine, of 
Morgan City, Ralph Picou and his wife, Marie, of Lafayette, Regan Picou and his 
wife, Lisa, of Jena, and Irvin Picou of Morgan City; one daughter, Helen Pilgrim 
and her husband, Virgil, of Conway, Ark.; two brothers, Sidney Rhodes and Willie 
Rhodes; one sister, Doris Macalusa Guidry; along with numerous grandchildren and 
great-grandchildren.

Evelia was preceded in death by her parents, Vince and Doliska Rhodes; her 
husband, Armand "Elmer" Picou ; two sons, Alton Picou and Earl Picou ; and one 
daughter, Mary Ann Picou Carter.

Visitation will be Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan 
City beginning at 10 a.m. Funeral services at the funeral home will begin at 2 
p.m. Tuesday. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.

Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
