POLEDORE, JEFFERSON, SR.

Jefferson Poledore Sr., 89, a resident of Franklin and native of Four Corners, 
died November 14, 2010, at 7:29 p.m., at Heart Hospital of Lafayette following a 
short illness.

He is survived by two sons, Alvin Poledore Sr. and Jefferson Poledore Jr., both 
of Bronx, New York; two daughters, Isabella P. Guillory and Ann Bell P. Tate, 
both of Franklin; six grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and eight great 
great grandchildren.

Mr. Poledore was preceded in death by his wife, Beatrice Poledore; and a sister, 
Nancy Depass.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, at the 
Otis Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 12 noon, at the mortuary, with the Rev. 
Clarence Stewart officiating. Interment will follow in the St. Jules Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
