Kim was an exceptional individual; she loved her family, their gatherings and especially her birthday celebrations. She was a member of Special Olympics and won a gold medal in gymnastics at the state meet. Music and dance, swimming, water skiing, boating and days at the camp were things she most enjoyed. A people person, she never forgot you once she met you. Kim was a student at The Center of Hope and Berwick Jr. High School. Kimberly is survived by her parents Ronnie and Sandra Ratcliff; a brother Ronnie Ratcliff, Jr. and his wife Monique Burgess Ratcliff of Berwick; a sister Rhonda Jane Ratcliff Gurinsky and her husband Charles H. Gurinsky of San Antonio, Texas.; her grandmother Natalia Dean of Morgan City; her nephews and nieces, Jennifer Carter, Nathan, Rachel and Sylven Gurinsky, Rustin, Reise, and Rhett Ratcliff. Kim is preceded in death by grandparents Randolph and Shirley Mayon Ratcliff; Grandfather Thomas L. Dean; an uncle Michael Ratcliff; and a cousin Rachel Ratcliff. A time of visitation will be Wednesday, December 1, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Kim (Kimbo) will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
