Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1011.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mable Louise Pete Rulf , a resident of Berwick, passed away Saturday, October 30, 2010, at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Mable was known for her compassionate heart for others. She never met a stranger and would feed anyone she came in contact with if they were hungry. Mable lived her life serving others and fulfilling Jesus'commandment to love one another. She especially enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone at the family gatherings. Mable did not shy away from hard work. She worked as a crab picker and on the shrimp boat with her husband when he would go out shrimping. Mable was a wonderful mother and grandmother to all her children. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Mable is survived by her two daughters, Vickie Pierrotti and her husband, Donald, of Berwick, and Mable Ann Folse and her fiancˇ, Evristo Romero, also of Berwick; three grandchildren, Donna Hebert and her fiancˇ, Jim Hebert, of Houston, Mendy Matte and her husband, Keith, of Branch, and Keith Pierrotti and his wife, Dylan, of Maine; 14 great-grandchildren, Tyler, Reid, Grant, T. J., Valarie, April, Olivia, Kristen, Adriana, Jordan, Hannah, Emma, Dominic and Allie; three great-greatgrandchildren, Ian, Sophie and Brayden; three sisters, Beulah Borel, Jeannette Pete and Iris Meranta; along with numerous nieces and nephews. Mable was preceded in death by her parents, Eli and Beulah Pete; her husband, Heywood William Rulf ; three brothers, Horace, Ira and Guy Pete; and four sisters, Irene Pete, Ollie Landry, Mae DeHart and Pearl DeHart. Visitation will take place today, Monday, Nov. 1, 2010, at Twin City Funeral Home in Morgan City from 6 p.m. until 10 p.m., with a Rosary service at 7 p.m. Visitation will resume Tuesday, Nov. 2, 2010, at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Morgan. AMass of Christian burial will begin at 11 a.m. Tuesday. She will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum. ===================
