Thomas, age 93, a native of Cumberland County, Virginia, and a resident of Berwick, La. for sixty six years, died on November 10, 2010, in Denver, Colorado where she lived for the past four years. Mrs. Thomas is survived by her daughter, Janet T. Vanden Bosch and her husband Thomas, of Franktown, Colorado, her son, Edgar J. Thomas Jr., and his wife Linda, of Berwick, four grand children, eight great grand children, cousins and a nephew. She was preceded in death by her father and mother, Francis and Angie Allen Womack, her husband of forty eight years, Edgar Joseph Thomas, a son, Allen Wells Thomas, a grand son, Andrew Jeremy Vanden Bosch, and two sisters, Patsy Gilinsky, and Vivian Pedraza Visitation will be at the Atkinson Memorial Presbyterian Church, 212 Fourth St., in Morgan City, on Friday November 19, 2010, starting at 10:00 AM until 12:00 noon. Funeral service for Mrs. Thomas will begin at 12:00 noon. Interment will be in Willow Grove Cemetery in Berwick, La. Pallbearers will be Edgar Thomas, Aaron Thomas, Stuart Thomas, Donald Thomas, Courtland Thomas, and Lyle Thomas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Atkinson Memorial Presbyterian Church in her memory. Arrangements have been entrusted to Twin City Funeral Home of Morgan City. ===================
