He fished, shrimped, and trapped nutria as he loved the outdoors. Minous was a proud United States Army Veteran who served his country in the Korean Conflict. Minous DeHart 79, was born in Bayou du Large and was a long time resident of Berwick. He passed away December 17, 2010 in Morgan City. He also is survived by three sons Randy and his wife Charlene DeHart, of Spring, Tx., Terry and his wife Denise Gaspar of Stephensville, and Timmy and his wife Debbie Gaspar of Patterson. Four daughters; Janet and her husband JD Houghton of Patterson, Ruthie and her husband Jerry Comeaux of Morgan City, Carol Jean and her husband Greg Leger Sr. of Morgan City, and Susan and her husband Glenn Adams of Berwick. He is also survived by a sister Marianne Fabre in addition to 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
