Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1012.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Sam Patrick Guagliardo Sr. a native of Biloxi, MS and a resident of Morgan City passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. Sam was a dedicated family man who enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren and watching LSU and Saints football on television. He took pride in passing the love of hunting and fishing own to his two sons, Sam Jr. and Scott along with a strong work ethic. He enthusiastically looked forward to spending time with his friends over breakfast at McDonalds where they are known affectionately as "The McDonalds' Breakfast Club". Sam is survived by his two sons: Sam P. Guagliardo Jr. and his wife, Allison of Morgan City and Scott Guagliardo and his wife, Christina of Morgan City; one sister, Sandra Barrilleaux Sons of Berwick; six grandchildren: Shannon, Ashleigh, Brandon, Lacey, Ann-Marie and Lance Gaugliardo; one uncle, George J. Theriot and his wife, Katie of Hot Springs, Arkansas; one aunt, Joyce T. Vicknair of Morgan City along with numerous nieces and nephews. Sam was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Guagliardo; his father, Sam Salvador Guagliardo; his mother, Hilda Theriot Guagliardo Barrilleaux and step- father, Anthony "Slim" Barrilleaux and one brother, Elton Barrilleaux. A time of remembrance will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 starting at 6pm until 9pm and resume at Holy Cross Catholic Church on Wednesday, December 29, 2010 at 9am until 11am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11am. Sam will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
