Funeral services will be held Monday, December 27, 2010, at 11:00 AM at Ibert's 
Mortuary for Edmae "Dee Dee" Delahoussaye Guillotte, 83, a native of New Iberia 
and a longtime resident of Franklin, who passed away Friday, December 24, 2010, 
at 5:30 AM at the Heart Hospital of Lafayette.

Burial will follow in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate 
the services.

Mrs. Guillotte is survived by two sons, Alvin Guillotte and his wife, Martha, of 
Franklin, and Allen Guillotte and his wife, Gracie, of Franklin; four daughters, 
Anne Picard and her husband, Michael, of Baldwin, Linda Meche and her husband, 
Adam, of Franklin, Patsy Hebert and her husband, Michael, of Charenton, and 
Missi Touchet and her husband, Derek, of Franklin; one sister, Edita "Jo" 
LeBlanc of New Iberia; 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great 
great grandchild.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy J. Guillotte; her parents, Cleo 
Delahoussaye and Eva Bourque Delahoussaye; four brothers, Alexandre "Alexon" 
Delahoussaye, Theo Delahoussaye, Willie Delahoussaye, and Theodore Delahoussaye; 
and two sisters, Edith D. Dorsey and Amy D. Bell.

A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ibert's Mortuary on Sunday, 
December 26, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 
PM, led by Deacon Richard Picard, and again Monday, December 27, from 9:00 AM 
until time of service.

Pallbearers will be Allen Guillotte, Jr., Heath Guillotte, Sean Picard, Justin 
Hebert, Elwin Ordoyne IV, and Adam Meche, Sr. Honorary pallbearers will be 
Matthew Landry, Tyler Hebert, and Larry August.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc., 1007 Main St.,
