Lois Lovett Lockette, age 61, a native and resident of Jeanerette, died 
Wednesday, December 15th at Dautrive Hospital in New Iberia, at 5:00 Pm.

Visitation was held at St. Marks Baptist Church in Jeanerette, Wednesday, 
December 22nd at 1:00 PM. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Lois leaves to cherish her percious memories, her mother, Lilly Young Lovett; a 
son, Kenneth "Tockie" Lovett; two foster daughters, Rebecca "Jackie" Gibson and 
Marquese Barto; a sister, Janet Lovette August; two aunts, Dorothy Purse of 
Texas City, Tx., Bertha kirby of Lake Wales, Fl., a niece, three nephews, six 
godchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, aunts and other relatives and 
friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, James Lovett.
