Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2010/sm1012.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Clarence Joseph Percle, 93, born in Belle River, September 11, 1917, a resident of Morgan City, was called home by our Lord on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Clarence will be missed by all who knew him. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Clarence served his country in the United States Army during World War II as a Corporal in the European Theater. During his service he was stationed in Africa, England, Germany, Italy and France. He was a Charter Member of the WWII Museum in New Orleans, LA. Clarence was a commercial fisherman most of his life. He enjoyed the outdoors, fishing, trapping, hunting and his way of life and the tradition was taught to his grandchildren. Above all, his family came first. He loved to cook and entertain his family with the fruits of his labor. He is survived by his wife of 63 1/2 years, Lovenia Gaspard Percle; his two daughters, Peggy Percle Landry and her fiancˇ Don Gaspar and Sibyl Percle Falgout and her husband Bobby; four grandchildren, Cherie Duhon and her husband Jimmy, Craig Landry and his wife Jennifer, Shane Falgout and his fiancˇ, Leslie Price and Eden Falgout; five great grandchildren, Brittney, Trevor and Ava Landry, Jenna and Abigail Duhon. Clarence is also survived by one sister, Eunice Daigle and numerous nieces and nephews. Clarence was preceded in death by his parents, Sidonie and Marie Daigle Percle; two brothers, Rene and Evert Percle; three sisters, Ella Michel, Amy Verrett and Hilda Verrett; and two great granddaughters, Madison Duhon and Ariel Landry. Visitation will be held Monday December 13, 2010 at Twin City Funeral Home from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Funeral services will be held at Monday December 13, 2010 at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church at 1:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery with the East St. Mary Parish Veterans Funeral Squad conducting Military Honors. ===================
