WHITE, IRMA H. 

Mrs. Irma Hartman White, 90, a resident of Morgan City and native of Glenwild, 
La., died Thursday, Dec. 9, 2010, at 10:50 a.m., at her residence following a 
short illness.

She is survived by one son, John Robert White of Augusta, Georgia; three 
daughters, Patsy W. Powell, Julie W. Wilson and Debbie W. Favors, all of Morgan 
City; one brother, Matthew Hartman Jr. of Franklin; eight grandchildren; and 13 
great grandchildren.

Mrs. White was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one daughter and two 
sons.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, Dec. 18, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., at New 
Zorah Baptist Church in Morgan City.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Terry Joseph officiating. Interment will follow in the Morgan City Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
