Carole led a full life; she loved her husband of forty years, Vincent; her job as secretary to the Mayor at City Hall and her extended family. Her two nephews were the light in her life. Carole enjoyed reading and read several newspapers on a regular basis. She also enjoyed TV (especially the shopping network). Carole will be sadly missed by her family and many friends. She is survived by her husband Vincent; a sister Janelle Michel Sanders and her husband Ron of Port Allen; and nephews Ryan Sanders, and family of Denham Springs and Eric Sanders and family of St. Amant. Carole is preceded in death by her parents Albert and Stella Leonard Michel; maternal grandparents Dorvilien and Alice Leonard; and paternal grandparents Justilien and Inez Michel. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel and will continue Wednesday, January 5, 2011 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A service of Christian burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. in the Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel. Carole will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
