Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1101.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Dennis James Driskill Sr. April 29, 1953 January 24, 2011 Dennis James Driskill Sr., a native of Morgan City and a resident of Berwick, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2011 at Iberia Medical Center in New Iberia. Dennis played base guitar for one of the local bands for many years and was a very avid hunter, fishermen and all around outdoorsman. He enjoyed spending time at his camp down the bayou and sharing that time with his family. Dennis was a real fun person to be around and he enjoyed life to its fullest. Dennis is survived by his wife, Gale Vinning Driskill of Berwick; his mother, Mary Driskill of Berwick; one son, Dennis James Driskill Jr. of Berwick; two daughters: Denise Mason and her husband, Ray of Berwick and Amy Driskill and her companion, Victor Berthelot Jr. of Ricohoc; six grandchildren: Chet, Sage, Kane, Brennen, Haily and Colby; two brothers: Ricky Driskill of Berwick and Tommy Driskill and his wife, Marlene of Berwick. Dennis was preceded in death by his father, Carl Driskill The visitation will be held at Twin City Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 starting at 6pm until 9pm and resuming at the funeral home on Wednesday, January 26, 2011 starting at 9am until 11am with a service beginning at 11am. Dennis will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with all the arrangements. ===================
