DUPLANTIS, CALISTE ALEXIS, IV
June 28, 1955  - January 30, 2011

A memorial Mass of Christian burial will be held Friday, February 4, 2011, at 
11:00 AM at the Church of the Assumption for Caliste Alexis Duplantis IV, 55, a 
native and longtime former resident of Franklin and a current resident of Lake 
Charles, who passed away Sunday, January 30, 2011, at 1:15 AM at the Lake 
Charles Memorial Hospital.

Father Billy Ruskoski, Pastor of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Rayne, will 
officiate the Mass.

Survivors include his mother, Wanda Robicheaux Levet of Lafayette; his step-
father, Emile X. Levet, Jr. of Lafayette; his sister, Denise and Ed Chaney of 
DeRidder; nieces, Christi and daughter Cayleigh, Alison and husband Jesse, and 
Bobbi; and nephew, Franklin; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Caliste Alexis Duplantis, III; two 
brothers, John Dudley and Wynn Bryant Duplantis; very special maternal 
grandparents, Dennis Paul Robicheaux Sr. and Elda Borel Robicheaux; paternal 
grandparents, Caliste Alexis Duplantis, Jr. and Evelyn Alleman Duplantis; step-
grandmother, Emmadel Peltier Levet.

A gathering of family and friends will be held Friday at the church from 9:30 AM 
until Mass time.

The family asks that memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research 
Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc.
