Helen was born and raised in Berwick, La. She was a loving devoted wife to the late John Fremin. Her life was filled when she became a mother to Wanda Fremin Aucoin, grandmother, and great grandmother. The love she had for her family was indeed unconditional. She was a very special lady to each of us who were blessed to share her love of life. She enjoyed caring for people and went above and beyond to support family and friends in times of need. Helen especially enjoyed telling jokes and making people smile. She was a member of Holy Cross Catholic Church and St Bernadette Catholic Church. She was also a member of the Crew of Galatea. We have lost a precious gift. We will miss Helen's kind, loving, and caring face. She will be in our thoughts and will live in our hearts forever. She will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved her. Helen is survived by her daughter, Wanda Aucoin and her husband, Ronald Sr.; three grandsons: Corey Aucoin and his wife, Kimberly of Berwick, Ronald Aucoin Jr. and his wife, Kimberly of Bayou L'ourse and John Aucoin and his wife, Seantell of Berwick; two granddaughters: Lezlie Aucoin of Morgan City and Alicia Ortego and her husband, Darrel of Pine Prairie; 12 great grandchildren and one great great-granddaughter and one brother, Andrew Freeman and his wife, Zella of Berwick. Helen was preceded in death by her husband, John Joseph Fremin; parents, Caliste and Celestine Fromenthal Freeman; one brother, Gerald Freeman; three sisters: Hester Robicheaux, Elsie Hebert and Coralee Rogers. Visitation will take place at Twin City Funeral Home on Sunday, January 16, 2011 starting at 6pm until 9pm and resuming at the funeral home on Monday, January 17, 2011 at 9am until 10:30am with a Mass of Christian Burial beginning at 11:00am at St. Bernadette Catholic Church in Bayou Vista.
