GRIFFIN, SHIRLEY 

Miss Shirley Griffin, 47, a resident and native of Patterson, died Thursday, 
January 20, 2011, at 9:15 a.m., at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City 
following a short illness.

She is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Griffin of Patterson; one 
daughter, Lakesha Renee Griffin of Patterson; one brother, Joseph Nathan Favors 
of Patterson; and two sisters, Ruby J. Guillory of Welsh and Dorothy Favors 
Douglas of Patterson.

Miss Griffin was preceded in death by her grandmothers.

Visitations will be observed Friday, Jan. 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at Good 
Hope Baptist Church in Patterson.

Burial rites will be read Friday, at 2 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
Patrick Jones officiating. Interment will follow in the Shield Cemetery in 
Patterson.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
