JOHNSON, MARIAN FAYE "OMAH"

Marian Faye "Omah" Johnson, 69, a Morgan City native and Palo Alto, Calif. 
resident, died Dec. 23, at her home with her children at her side after a nearly 
13-year battle against metastatic breast cancer.

Johnson is survived by her children, Kimberly Johnson Garc’a of Palo Alto, 
Calif., Alvin Johnson Jr. of Mesa, Ariz., Lorri Johnson Santamar’a of Oceanside, 
Calif., and Kelle Johnson LeDuff, of Inglewood, Calif.; 11 grandchildren; one 
great-grandchild; and her sisters, Amy Bartley of Morgan City, Gertrude Jordan 
of Plaquemine, Saundra Jean Harris of Colombia, Md., and Lynda Diego of Los 
Angeles.

Johnson was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, her brother and four 
sisters.

A celebration of her life was held Thursday at Abundant Life Christian 
Fellowship in the Prayer Chapel in Mountain View, Calif., at 3 p.m.
