Rowena Rosson a long time resident of Stephensville passed away at the age of 54 
in Morgan City.

Rowena was a fun loving lady who was devoted to her grandchildren and enjoyed 
her friends and family. Rowena believed in supporting our veterans and 
remembering those who lost their lives in service to our country. Rowena and her 
husband "Cowboy" were the founders of the "Memorial Freedom Ride".

Rowena is survived by her husband George " Cowboy" Rosson Jr., her son Jonathan 
Russo , her daughter Michelle Hay her brother Robert and his wife Debbie 
Childriss and her sister Betty and her husband Sunny Brown. Rowena is also 
survived by her Step father and mother Robert and Lou Childriss and her step 
brother Lester Fussell and step sister Linda Fussell and 8 grandchildren.

Memorial services will be held on January 15, 2011 at The American Legion Post, 
96 in Morgan City.
