Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1101.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Funeral services will be held Friday, January 7, 2011, at 10:00 AM at the Crossing Place Fellowship to celebrate the life of Joseph Alvin "Butch" Waguespack, Jr., 46, a native of Morgan City and a resident of Franklin for the past two years, who went to be with his Lord on Tuesday, January 4, 2011, at 10:15 PM at his home surrounded by family. Burial will follow in the Perpetual Park Cemetery. Pastor Den Hussey and Pastor Brad Bullock will officiate the services. Butch is survived by his wife, Alisia Irby Waguespack of Franklin; two sons, B. J. Salazar of Arnaudville and Joshua Waguespack of Seattle, Washington; his mother, Gayle Ewing Waguespack of Franklin; two step-sons, Jacoby Nixon of Gramercy and Lucas Nixon of Raybun Gap, Georgia; a step-daughter, Kristie Morris of Kenner; and 12 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Alvin Waguespack, Sr.; an infant brother, Todd Waguespack; an infant sister, Roxanne Waguespack; a brother, Shayne Adam Waguespack; and his grandparents. A gathering of family and friends will be held Thursday at the Crossing Place Fellowship from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, and again on Friday from 8:00 AM until service time.
