Visitation was at House of Prayer United Pentecostal Church in Thibodaux on Sunday, Feb. 27, 2011, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m. with service beginning at 7 p.m. Visitation continued at the church today, Monday, Feb. 28, 2011, from 8 a.m. until 10 a.m. with dismissal service at 10 a.m. Interment was in Church of God of Prophecy Cemetery in Belle River. Therese is survived by son Gene Richard Sr. of Napoleonville; daughter Terrie Lynn Bassa and her husband, Carlos, of Bayou L'Ourse; son Steve Richard Sr. and his wife, Tammy, of Morgan City; daughter Billie LeBlanc and her husband, Jimmy Sr., of Bayou L'Ourse; son Glen Richard and his wife, Angie, of Thibodaux; daughter Bobbie Jo Chiasson and her husband, Timothy, of New Orleans; brother Robert Breaux and his wife, Beverly, of Loranger; and sister Adeline B. Verda and her husband, Leroy, of Luling. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Therese was preceded in death by her first husband of 29 years, Eugene J. Richard, and her second husband of five years, Sterling Adams Sr. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Ulysee J. and Una Cavalier Breaux and brother, Paul Breaux. She attended House of Prayer United Pentecostal Church. Thibodaux Funeral Home Inc. was in charge of arrangements. ===================
