CLAYTON, NELL D.

Nell Davis Bannister Clayton, a resident of Metairie and native of Verdunville, 
died February 17, 2011.

She is survived by her daughter, Shanel Clayton Wallace; son-in-law, Anthony 
Wallace; three brothers, John Austin Jr. of Verdunville, Gilbert Austin of 
Verdunville and Jackie Austin of Atlanta, Georgia; six sisters, Cassie Grayson 
of Atlanta, Fannie Cobet of Metairie, Theresa Van Buren of Patterson, Rosa 
Hawkins of Verdunville, Florence Eugene and Linda Boutte, both of Houston, 
Texas.

Mrs. Clayton was preceded in death by her son, Oscal Ballanser Jr.; her parents, 
and two sisters.

Memorial services will take place at Little Zion Baptist Church, 256 Prairie Rd. 
North in Verdunville Saturday, Feb. 26, at 11 a.m.

Repast following services at St. Mary Parish Alternative School in Verdunville.
