Erlinda led a full life. She was a teacher in Honduras and had many trials that required her great strength of character to overcome. She loved her family and many friends. She was always a neat person, dressing to the nines when out in public. She loved gardening and had a green thumb. She is survived by her son, Mario Rico and his wife, Olga; two daughters, Eleonora and her husband, David Noel Aparicio, and Alba Marilu Cooper and her husband, Clarence; nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and one great- greatgrandchild. Erlinda was preceded in death by her parents, Mario Nolasco and Tomasa Morales of Honduras; her husband of 30 years, Carlos Rico; a daughter, Miriam Rico; a grandson, Carlos Cooper; three brothers and four sisters. A time of visitation will be Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, from 9 a.m. until noon with a service of Christian burial beginning at noon. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
