Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1102.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Della Mae Driskill, 73, born in Franklin and a long time resident of Berwick passed away at Thibodaux Regional Medical Center Feb ruary 11, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Della loved her Lord and enjoyed singing his praises as a regular member of Twin City Gospel Temple. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend she loved to cook for her family and was known for her seafood and baking. A gardener for both vegetables and flowers, she was able to give to others from the surplus. Della loved to give and was always looking for ways to help those in need. Della was survived by her husband of 56 years Everett Driskill, two sons; Everett Driskill, Jr. and his wife Sheila of Slidell; Troy Driskill and wife Frances of Morgan City; two daughters Delilah Dupuis and husband Forest of Berwick and Stephanie DeHart and husband Harris, Sr. of Berwick; six grandchildren and 10 1/2 great-grandchildren and a sister Barbara LeBlanc Martinez. She is preceeded in death by her parents Roy and Adella Ribardi Granier, a grandson Christopher Paul Blair and sister-in-laws Winnie Menard and Madilyn Bancroft. The family request that in lieu of flowers contributions be made to Twin City Gospel Temple, 215 Canton St., Berwick, LA 70342. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Sunday February 13, 2011 at Twin City Gospel Temple in Berwick and continuing Monday February 14, 2011 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. with a service of Christian burial beginning at 2:00 p.m. Della will be laid to rest in the Berwick Mausoleum. ===================
