Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1102.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mary Ellen Driskill November 16, 1933 February 19, 2011 Mary Ellen Driskill, 77, born on Bayou Schaffer and a resident of Berwick, passed away at her residence surround by her family. Mary loved spending time with her family and friends down the bayou, fishing and passing a good time. Mary especially enjoyed the time spent with her grandchildren. Mary was an excellent cook. Mary was survived by two sons; Rickey Driskill of Berwick and Tommy Driskill and his wife Marlene of Berwick, one daughter-in-law, Gale Driskill of Berwick, two sisters; Flora Mae Landry of Patterson and Josie L. Folse Romero of Berwick. Mary is also survived by 6 grandchildren; Randall Driskill, Jason Driskill, Dennis Driskill Jr., Denise Mason, Amy Driskill and Tracy Adams and nine great- great grandchildren. A host of nieces and nephews and her special dog "Betty" survive her. Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Monroe W. LaCoste and Annie Elizabeth "Betty" LaCoste, her husband, Carl Driskill, one son, Dennis Driskill Sr. three sisters; Ella Rita Vicknair Yokum, Marjorie Ann Ratcliff, Juanita Oncale Foret, four brothers; Monroe LaCoste Jr., Charles LaCoste, Ira LaCoste and Jerry LaCoste. The visitation will be held Monday, February 21, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home from 6pm until 9pm. The visitation will resume on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 from 10am until 2pm at Twin City Funeral Home. The funeral service will begin at 2pm. Mary will be laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. ===================
