Doretha H. "QUEENIE" Eugene, age 84, a resident of Jeanerette, died Thursday, 
February 10, 2011 at her Jeanerette residence at 8:05 AM. 

Visitation will Monday, February 14, 2011 at St. Paul United Methodist Church in 
Jeanerette, La. from 10:00 AM until funeral at 1:00 PM. 
Burial will be in the Jerusalem Cemetery in Jeanerette.(Gwendolyn). Officiating, 
Darrel Briggs. 

Doretha leaves to cherish his memories; two sons, Bernard (Lois) Eugene and 
Carnel (Karen) Eugene, Sr. all of Jeanerette; three daughters, Mrs. JC (Mary 
Gail Eugene) Hawkins and Mrs. Warren (Dianne Eugene) Drexler both of Jeanerette, 
and Mrs. Timothy (Loretta Eugene) Seals of Baton Rouge; two sisters, Mable 
Watson of Jeanerette and Katie Jones of Houston, TX; thirty grandchildren, 
eighteen great grandchildren and a host of relatives and friends. 

Active pallbearers will be, Jermaine Eugene, James Reed, Ben Eugene, III, Fred 
Reed, Ben Edward Eugene and Carnel Eugene, JR; and Honorary will be; Anthony 
Smith, Jovan Fontenot, JC Hawkins, Timothy Seals, Warren Drexler, Tony Gage, 
Christian Eugene, Nolan Jackson, Cory Vines and Chris Molo. 

Preceded in death by her father, Aaron Hensley, her mother, Leona Colar, her 
husband, Ben Eugene, Sr., a son, Ben Eugene, Jr., and a brother, John Mitchell.
