MARSHALL, NELLIE G. 

Mrs. Nellie Gray Marshall, 73, a resident of New Iberia and native of Franklin, 
died Wednesday, February 2, 2011, at 5:26 a.m., at Dauterive Hospital in New 
Iberia following a short illness.

She is survived by her husband, Leonard A. Marshall Sr. of New Iberia; five 
sons, Leonard A. Marshall Jr. of Boca Raton, Florida, Christopher Andre 
Marshall, Kenneth Isiah Marshall, Shawn Paul Marshall, all of New Iberia, and 
Byron Joseph Marshall of Franklin; three daughters, Juanita M. Hall of Carencro, 
Delma Jean Marshall of Baltimore, Maryland and Mary Frye of Franklin; two 
sisters, Flora Mae Clark of Houston, Texas and Boria Jones of Flint, Michigan; 
one brother, John Darrell of New York, New York; 17 grandchildren; and eight 
great grandchildren.

Mrs. Marshall was preceded in death by her parents.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, Feb. 12, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at the 
Otis Mortuary Chapel.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 1 p.m., at the mortuary, with the Rev. 
Joe and Rhonda Rouss officiating. Interment will follow in the Nazarene Cemetery 
in Verdunville.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
