William "Willie" Rhodes, 87, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, passed away on 
Saturday, February 19, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center. 

Willie loved to bake and was an excellent cook.

Willie is survived by four sons: Randall Rhodes and his wife Connie of Houston, 
TX., Chris Rhodes and his wife Geri of Lafayette, Steve Rhodes and his wife 
Terri of Lafayette and Vince Rhodes of Morgan City. Willie is also survived one 
brother, Sidney Rhodes and his wife Gladys of Carencro, one sister, Doris R. 
Guidry and her husband Lynn of Morgan City and seven grandchildren and five 
great grandchildren.

Willie is preceded in death by his parents, Vince Evans Rhodes and Doliska Tevay 
Rhodes, three brothers; Albert, Stanley and Robert Rhodes and one sister Mary 
Picou.

The visitation will be held Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home 
from 9am until 11am. The funeral service will commence at 11am. Willie will be 
laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
