Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1102.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2011, at 11:00 AM at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville for Mr. Eusebe Joseph "Zeb" Robicheaux, 86, a native and longtime resident of Centerville, and a resident of Stephensville for the past 31 years, who passed away Saturday, February 5, 2011, at 4:42 AM at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City. Burial will follow in the St. Joseph Cemetery. Father Danny Poche', of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Morgan City, will officiate the services. Mr. Robicheaux was a veteran of the United States Army Air Corps, having served during World War II. He was a charter member of the Knights of Columbus, Centerville Council #4309 and was a member of the American Legion Post #63 in Franklin. He retired from Exxon in 1982 as a Senior Field Superintendant in production after 33 years of dedicated service. He was also an avid hunter and outdoorsman. Mr. Robicheaux is survived by his wife, Stella Vinning Robicheaux of Stephensville; three daughters, Gwen Keith of Centerville, Paddy Boudreaux and her husband, Glenn, of Franklin, and Paula Tardiff of Lafayette; six step- daughters, Debra Boudreaux and her husband Homer, of Patterson, Rebecca Cross and her husband, Graham, of Amelia, Ramona Brizzard and her husband, Spencer, Jr., of Houston, Doreen Wiggins and her husband, Ronnie, of Stephensville, Karen Hamilton and her husband, Darren, of Minden, and Josephine Crabtree of Stephensville; two step-sons, Monroe LaCoste III of Stephensville, and John LaCoste and his wife, Myrna, of Franklin; one brother, Raymond "Ray" Robicheaux and his wife, Dianne, of Franklin; three grandchildren; six great grandchildren; 17 step-grandchildren; 17 step-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Nina Eldridge Robicheaux; parents, Eusebe Albert Robicheaux and Marie Mae Miguez Robicheaux; four sisters, Irene Slataper, Ella Mae Polito, Doris Vaccarella, and Theresa Foolkes; and four brothers-in-law, Joe Vaccarella, Sam Polito, Johnny Foolkes, and Richard Slataper. A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, February 7, at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM, and again Tuesday, February 8, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Centerville from 8:00 AM until Mass time.
