ABRAHAM, CECILE D. 

Mrs. Cecile M. Dixon Abraham, 64, a resident of Lafayette and native of Baldwin, 
died Friday, March 18, 2011, at 10:30 a.m., at Our Lady of Lourdes Regional 
Medical Center following a short illness.

She is survived by one son, Kenneth Abraham of New Iberia; one brother, Charlie 
Martin of Baldwin; three sisters, Dolly Dixon of Baldwin, Agnes Dixon Brown of 
Lafayette and Mary Martin of New Orleans; one grandchild; and three great 
grandchildren.

Mrs. Abraham was preceded in death by her parents, two daughters, three sisters, 
three brothers and one grandson.

Visitations will be observed Saturday, March 26, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., at 
Special Providence Baptist Church in Baldwin.

Burial rites will be read Saturday, at 2 p.m., at that church, with the Rev. 
W.J. Otis officiating. Interment will follow in the Special Providence Cemetery.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
