Boudreaux, 90, a native and resident of Franklin, who passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011, at 2:35 PM in New Iberia. Burial will be held in the Franklin Cemetery. Father Lloyd Benoit will officiate the services. Mr. Elwood was a veteran of the United States Army having served as a medic during World War II in the European Theater. Survivors include one son, Manly C. Boudreaux and his wife, Tammy, of Jeanerette; two daughters, Elizabeth "Liz" Boudreaux Gary of New Iberia, Susan Boudreaux Boffone and her husband, Bobby, of New Iberia; six grandchildren, Dusty Moss, Dwayne Vincent, Nicole Mire, Misty Brasseaux, Emmy Gary, and Lindsey Boudreaux; five great grandchildren, Shawn, Avery, Logan, Alyssa, and Cole; two step-grandchildren, Tammy B. Dugas and Bobby Boffone, Jr.; one step-great-grandchild, Leah; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife of 59 years, Virgie Theriot Boudreaux; his parents, John J. Boudreaux and Marie Perez Boudreaux; two brothers, Clovis J. Boudreaux and Matthew J. Boudreaux; three sisters, Bessie B. Pontiff, Leticia B. Romaire, and Virginia B. Brock. A gathering of family and friends will be held at Ibert's Mortuary on Sunday, March 20, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM., with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM, and again on Monday, March 21, from 8:00 AM until 10:30 AM. Pallbearers will be Manly C. Boudreaux, Bobby W. Boffone, Sr., Dwayne Vincent, Bobby Moss, Shawn Moss, and Scott Mire. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. ===================
