Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1103.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Dot Mae Besson Dover, known to some as Sister, 85, a native of Franklin and resident of Bayou Vista, passed away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center. Dorothy was born May 15, 1925 in Shadyside, LA the daughter of Albert M. and Linda Mary Boudin Besson. She was an avid bowler and past member of the Morgan City Bowling Congress of America. Dorothy is survived by two children, Linda Mary D. Daigle, of Morgan City, Leroy Alan Dover, of Bayou Vista, LA; five grandchildren, Tammy Daigle Delahoussaye, Melissa Mursco, Sandra Daigle, Keith Daigle, Sr., Russell Daigle; six great- grandchildren, Mathew Delahoussaye, Ryan Delahoussaye, Dalton Sauce II, Gabreal Mursco, Keith Daigle Jr., Brandon Keith Daigle. She is also survived by two sisters, Joyce Rita Besson Simoneaux, Shirley L. Besson Weiss; one brother, Albert M. Besson, Jr. ; a host of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, John W. Dover Sr.; one daughter Patsy Ann Dover; one son, John W. Dover, Jr, also known as Sunny Boy. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 24, 2011 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Twin City Funeral Home. Visitation will resume Friday March 25, 2011 at the funeral home from 8:00 AM until the start of the funeral service at 10:00 AM officiating will be Rev. Lamar Oliver. Dorothy will be laid to rest in Morgan City Cemetery. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements. ===================
