Karl, a 1958 graduate of Sacred Heart Academy which was the first class to graduate from the new school, was an electrician by trade and worked where he was needed. He enjoyed his family and extended family, fishing, hunting, football and a party with music and dancing. He is survived by his four daughters: Angelia Legnon and her husband Gerald of Wiggins, Mississippi; Susan Aucoin and her husband Thomas of Bayou L'Ourse; Janelle Gagliano of Bayou L'Ourse and Carla Gagliano and companion Casey Gros of Amelia; a brother Anthony Gagliano of Corpus Christi, Texas, fifteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and many friends. Karl was preceded in death by his parents Walter and Verna Aucoin Gagliano; his loving wife of 25 years Kathleen Cormier Gagliano; a son Nick Gagliano and a great-granddaughter Kamryn Gagliano. A time of remembrance and reflection will be held at Hargrave Funeral Home Chapel, Friday, March 4, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and continuing Saturday, March 5, 2011 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 a.m. from St. Andrews Catholic Church in Amelia. Karl will be laid to rest in the St. Andrews Cemetery. ===================
