Ramona Gautreaux, 75, a native of Berwick, and resident of Abbeville, passed 
away Sunday, March 20, 2011 at Heritage Manor in Abbeville.

She was born June 9, 1935 in Berwick, the daughter of Edric and Lucia Adams 
Gautreaux.

Ramona enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and also had a 
love for reading and researching family genealogy.

Ramona is survived by four children, Edric Rock, of Rayne, LA, Chris Beaver, of 
Little Rock, AR, Florence Beaver, of Rayne, LA, Horton Elvin Beaver, Jr., of 
Theriot, LA; twenty grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren. She is also 
survived by three sisters, Myrna Vinning, of Patterson, LA, Ruth Hebert, of 
Houma, LA, Rita Bernucho, of Mobile, AL; one brother, Michael Gautreaux, of 
Mobile, AL; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Edric Gautreaux, Jr.; two 
sons, Jim Beaver, and Ronnie Beaver; one great-grandson, Eastyn Mendoza.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2011 at Twin City Funeral Home from 
6:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a rosary conducted at 7:00 PM. Visitation will resume 
Wednesday, March 23, 2011 from 8:00 AM until 9:30 AM at the funeral home. A Mass 
of Christian Burial will take place at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at 
Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Greg Fratt officiating. Ramona will be 
laid to rest in the Berwick Cemetery.

Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
