Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1103.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Marilyn Ruth LeBoeuf Roy a life long resident of Morgan City passed away on Sunday, March 27, 2011 at Our Lady of Lourdes Medical Center at 6:35am in Lafayette surrounded by her loving family. All who knew Marilyn knew she enjoyed having a good time with family and friends which were most important in her life. She had a wonderful sense of humor, loved to dance, enjoyed animals and loved watching sporting events, especially her Saints and the Braves. Marilyn was greatly loved and will be missed by all who knew her. Marilyn is survived by her son, Joseph "Lenny" Roy Jr. of Morgan City; two daughters: Lynette Roy Davis and her husband, Robert of Patterson and Katherine Elizabeth Roy and her partner, Kathleen Abshire and her son, Blaise of Lafayette; one grandson, Jonathan Roy Davis and his wife, Elisa D. Davis of Lafayette and one special great grandson, her "Baby", Ian Robert Davis. Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph L. "Pud" Roy Sr., her parents, Ernest James and Mabel LeBoeuf; one son, Lionel James Roy and one brother, James Ernest LeBoeuf; her "sister" Helen Marshall and her fur baby "Willie". Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church beginning at 1pm until 4pm with a Mass of Christian Burial starting at 4pm. She will be accompanied by a Jazz Band and she will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Mausoleum. In Lieu of Flower please make donations to your local animal shelter or S.P.C.A. Twin City Funeral Home has been entrusted with all arrangements. ===================
