Helene Boulerisse, 48, born in Colorado and a resident of Houma, passed away on 
Thursday, April 21, 2011 at Terrebonne General Medical Center following a 
lengthy illness.

Helene is survived by her husband of 31 years, retired Marine Corp Captain 
Robert Boulerisse, Sr., her son, Marine Corp Lieutenant Jessee Boulerisse, her 
brother, John Chanter, her sister , Julie Rohan, and two granddaughters, Heather 
and Regina Boulerisse. She is also survived by her father-in-law, Raymond 
Boulerisse.

Helene was preceded in death by her parents, Gilbert and Justine Chanter, her 
mother-in-law, Rosemarie Boulerisse, her daughter Marine Corp Sergeant Rachel 
Boulerisse, her son, Marine Corp Sergeant Robert Boulerisse, Jr. and her son, 
Marine Corp Gunny Sergeant Ryan Boulerisse.

Helene was married to a retired Marine Corp Captain for 31 years. She lost her 
daughter Rachel, and her son, Ryan, in Iraq. She also lost her son, Robert, Jr. 
in Afghanistan.

Helene will be truly missed by all who knew her.
A time of remembrance and reflection will be observed Friday, April 29, 2011 at 
6:00 P.M. at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Gibson, Louisiana.
Hargrave Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
