Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1104.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Carl Carline Sr., 80, a lifelong resident of Charenton, passed away, Friday, April 8, 2011, at 12:21 a.m., at The Heart Hospital of Lafayette. Carl is survived by his wife of 57 years, Joyce Kelley Carline of Charenton; two sons, Carl Carline Jr. and his wife, Monica, of Baldwin and Craig Carline Sr. and his wife, Elizabeth, of Baldwin; two daughters, Gena Bonvillain and her husband, Marcus, of New Iberia, and Elizabeth Jumonville and her husband, John, of Jeanerette; two brothers, Ray Carline of Lake Arthur and Archie Carline of Gueydan; two sisters, Regina Breaux of Franklin and Glinda Kelley of Plaquemine; 10 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elvin and Josephine Carline; a brother, Tunney Carline; and a sister, Mazey Patterson. The family requests that visitation he observed Sunday, April 10, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., at Ibert's Mortuary in Franklin. Visitation will resume Monday, April 11 at 8 a.m. until time of dismissal at Ibert's Mortuary. Funeral services for Carl will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 10 a.m. at the Little Pass Baptist Church in Charenton with Pastor Bobby Hodnett officiating. Burial will follow in the Immaculate Conception Church Cemetery in Charenton. Carl retired after 35 years of dedicated service as a Construction Superintendent for the Superior Service Co. He was a Corporal in the Army 82nd Airborne during the Korean War. He was active in the Atchafalaya Restoration Program. Carl was known as the local beekeeper. He was a devoted husband, father, brother and grandfather. He was a commercial fisherman, avid hunter and alligator fisherman. Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary, Inc. of Franklin, Louisiana. ===================
