FRANCIS, SIDNEY JOHN 

Sidney John Francis, 81, a native of Dulac and a resident of Patterson, died 
Thursday (March 31, 2011) at Teche Regional Medical Center in Morgan City.

Francis is survived by his six children, Kathleen "Kathy" Francis Dinger of 
Bayou Vista, John K. "Kellen" Francis and Sidney J. "June" Francis, both of 
Morgan City, Julianne "Julie" Francis Dinger of Patterson, Pamela Ann Francis of 
Plaquemine, and David A.

Francis of Houma; two sisters, Josephine Chapman of Desoto, Ill., and Corine 
Paulk of Houma; 15 grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; 18 greatgrandchildren 
and one stepgreat-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and three sisters.

The family requests that visitation be observed Monday from 9 a.m. until time of 
funeral services at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson with a rosary being prayed at 
11 a.m.

Funeral services will be held Monday at noon at Ibert's Mortuary in Patterson. 
Burial will follow in Berwick Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to alleviate 
funeral expenses.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Ibert's Mortuary Inc. of Patterson.
