Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1104.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Mrs. Delores Marie Rhodes Gussman, 81, a native of Berwick, Louisiana and a long time resident of Morgan City left this life Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. Delores was a loving wife, mother, grand and great-grandmother that took pleasure in her family. She loved to cook her special meals for family and friends. Delores was a true friend and was always there for those in need. She was married to the love of her life, Milton, for 62 wonderful years. Delores is survived by two sons Robert Gussman and his wife Elizabeth, Arnold Gussman and his wife Judy; and a daughter Ann Hooper and her companion Johnnie Lee Carter all of Morgan City; ten grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Pallbearers are Robert Gussman, Jr., Arnold Gussman, Jr., Robert Gussman III, Draven Smith, Johnnie Lee Carter and Mark Nice. Honorary Pallbearers will be Tyler Ishee and Shawn Brady. The family wishes to offer a special thanks to her caregiver Karen Hatcher; Dr. Natalie Dishman; and Journey Hospice. She is preceded in death by her parents Justillian and Clothilde Toups Rhodes; her husband Milton Gussman; brothers Anthony, Nolan, Calvin and Willam Rhodes; and sisters Elda Vidos and Lorena Blanco. A time of reflection and remembrance will be held Sunday, April 24, 2011 from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. at Hargrave Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 P.M. and continue Monday, April 25, 2011 from 9:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. at Holy Cross Catholic Church. Delores will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery. ===================
