Elizabeth (Ms. Bet) Smith Jones, age 82, a native and resident of Morgan City 
died Thursday, April 21, 2011 at her resident.

Visitation will be Saturday, April 30, 2011 at Church of Christ on Railroad Ave 
from 10:00 AM until funeral at 2:00 PM. Burial will be in the Greenwood 
Cemetery.

Ms. Bet leaves to cherish her memory; her husband, Herbert Jones, Sr., of Morgan 
City; three sons, Herbert (Tamara) Jones, Jr., of Bayou Vista, La., LLoyd M. 
Jones and Troy L. Jones both of Morgan City; nine daughters, Tessie (Calvin) 
Brown of Bayou Vista, La., Rose Harvey and Sandra (Raymond) Jones both of 
Patterson, La., Wanda (Henry) Brown, Mary (Ronald) Jones, Gwendolyn Grogan, Tena 
(Troy) Jones and Gina (Clemous) Mingo all of Morgan City, and Constance Jones of 
Houston, TX; one stepsister, Noonie Raymond (Sidney) of Morgan City; forty-four 
grandchildren, fifty-one great grandchildren and a host of relatives and 
friends.

Preceded in death by her parents; Henry and Edna Smith.
