Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1104.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Betty Evelyn Rulf LaCoste a native of Berwick and a resident of Amelia went home to be with her Lord on Friday, April 22, 2011 in Houma, Louisiana at Heritage Manor of Houma Nursing Home. Betty's grandchildren were the light in her eyes. She enjoyed spending time outdoors working in the yard, knitting, reading and going to church. Her children always will remember how much of a hard worker their mother was to make sure they never went without. Betty will be sorely missed by her family and friends. Betty is survived by her four daughters: Eva Wright and her husband, Willard of Morgan City, Margaret Landry and her husband, Kenny of Jennings, Sandy Fontenot and her ex-husband, Ervin of Amelia and Betty Anderson and her husband, Brian of Laurel, Miss.; 11 grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph LaCoste; her parents, Henry and Mary Rulf; one sister, Helen Ritter and one grandchild, Andrea Wright. A time of remembrance will start on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at 6pm until 9pm at Twin City Funeral Home and resume on Monday, April 25, 2011 at 8:30am until 11:00am with a service of Christian Burial following. She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery following the service. ===================
