METZ, PEARLEY W. 

Mrs. Pearley "Louise" Westley Metz, 91, a resident and native of Jeanerette, 
died Monday, April 11, 2011, at 10:22 p.m., at her residence following a short 
illness.

She is survived by one son, Lionel C. "Butch" Metz and his wife, Velda, of 
Jeanerette; four daughters, Lula Metz Hobbs of San Francisco, California, Lorris 
Metz Germany of Plaquemine, Lucille Metz Peoples and husband, John, of Blair, 
South Carolina and Laurel Metz McCrary of Lancaster, California; 15 
grandchildren; and 16 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Metz was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two sons, two 
grandsons, four brothers, one daughter-in-law, three sisters-in-law and three 
brothers-in-law.

Visitations will be observed Friday, April 15, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m., at St. 
Peter United Methodist Church in Jeanerette.

Burial rites will be Saturday, April 16, church opens at 9 a.m. until services 
at 11 a.m. Interment will follow in the St. Peter Cemetery. The Rev. Andrew 
Gouff will officiate the service.

The Otis Mortuary of Franklin is in charge of preparations.
