Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1104.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== Adrain Pickering, 76, born in Myers, Mississippi and a long time resident of Bayou L'Ourse left this life Friday, April 22, 2011 at Teche Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family. Adrain was a family man who always provided for his family. He enjoyed family gatherings, teaching his sons and grandchildren to hunt, fish and grow up strong and loving. He worked as a crane operator for most of his life and made many friends in the oilfield. His love of gardening helped feed his family and share with neighbors. He is survived by his loving wife, Emelie, of 50 years; two sons James Pickering and his wife Karla of Dickson, Tennessee and Steve Christopher Pickering and his wife Sherry of Burnsville, Mississippi; a daughter Tina Hebert and her husband Dale of Bayou L'Ourse; brothers Hershel and Gerald Pickering; and a sister Doris Williams; six grandchildren Kevin Pickering, Curtis Pickering, T. J. Daigle, Jami Pickering Savannah Galloway, and Leah Dan Pickering; and three great- grandchildren. Adrain is preceded in death by his parents Sylvester and Cleora Sullivan Pickering; one sister; and three brothers. Adrain's wish was to be cremated with a private family service. ===================
