Please go to http://usgwarchives.net/la/stmary/obits/dateobits/2011/sm1104.htm and click on the name of interest. ========== A Mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Baldwin for Mrs. Lilly Mae Hebert Rodriguez, 83, a native of Biloxi, MS and a longtime resident of Ashton, who passed away Saturday, April 2, 2011, at 5:10 AM at her home. Interment will follow in the Sacred Heart Cemetery Mausoleum. Msgr. Charles Mallet will officiate the services. Mrs. Rodriguez is survived by one son, Kevin Rodriguez and his wife, Cindy, of Charenton; six daughters, Faith R. Hebert and her husband, Herman, of Franklin, Hope R. Hebert and her husband, Ray, of Ashton, Charity R. Lancon and her husband, Michael, of Jeanerette, Love R. Colletti and her husband, Darryl, of New Iberia, Joy R. Blanchard of New Iberia, and LaJuan R. Louviere of Thibodaux; one brother, Julius Hebert of Charenton; 20 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Shirley "Gun" Joseph Rodriguez; one grandson, Caine Eric Rodriguez; one great grandson, Ryan Thomas Hebert; her parents, Adolph Hebert and Mae Migues Hebert; two brothers, E. J. Hebert and Calvin Hebert; and one sister, Irene Schexnayder. A gathering of family and friends will be held Tuesday, April 5, at Ibert's Mortuary from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM, with the rosary being prayed at 7:00 PM. Visiting will resume Wednesday at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church at 9:00 AM until Mass time. Pallbearers will be her six daughters, Faith Hebert, Hope Hebert, Charity Lancon, Love Colletti, Joy Blanchard, and LaJuan Louviere. Honorary pallbearers will be her son, Kevin Rodriguez, six grandsons, Jeff Lancon, Shane Hebert, Reggie Hebert, Seth Rodriguez, Reid Hebert, and Luke Rodriguez; a great granddaughter, Alexis Hebert; and two great grandsons, Oday Hebert, and Gabe Naquin.
